About Us
In order to provide our university's academic and social support services through a more effective and holistic structure, the Dean of Students Office was established by a Senate decision on December 27, 2018. This structure was implemented based on models commonly applied at foundation universities and inspired by university models abroad. However, in light of the evaluations regarding the perceptions and practical implications of the term "Dean's Office," the unit was renamed the Student Support Unit.
The Student Support Unit (Help Team) is one of the key components of our university's student-centered service approach. Our unit operates to support our students in resolving problems they encounter in academic, administrative, and personal processes, to accurately and effectively forward their requests to the relevant academic and administrative units, and to ensure that the entire process is carried out transparently.
Continuing its work based on the principle of "Students First," our unit stands by our students throughout their university life. By strengthening communication between students and the administration, it contributes to resolving issues quickly, effectively, and with a solution-oriented approach.
